The History of High Adventure Air

In 1960 Wayne and Sandy Bell came to the Kenai Peninsula from Oregon. They brought with them their two children Mark and David. Three years later Greg was born in Soldotna.

In 1964 Wayne got his registered guides license and began hunt guiding. At this time they had one plane. After 18 years (1982) Greg and Mark entered into the business. They began taking fisherman as well as hunters. HAA grew again in 1984 with their new Air Taxi License and a third plane. HAA began flying their first Beaver in 1984.

In 1987 Wayne Bell passed away. At this point HAA owned a C185, a Beaver, and a Super Cub. Since 1987 HAA has continued to expand.
